Dealing With Your Digital Life in the Afterlife

Facebook puts your page into “memorial state.”  Flickr keeps all your photos online.  Yahoo! keeps your email safe and secure.

In most cases, online social networks and email services will keep your account and all the information in it private.  A family member will have to show proof of death to access the account.  Even then some services don’t give you complete access.  Some will only give you a copy of the email messages, for instance.
