Windows 7 Recovery Disc

If you purchased a new PC with Windows 7, you may not get a full Windows 7 installation CD/DVD that has the recovery features.  Sometimes it is better to use the recovery feature instead of restoring your system to its original, store-bought condition.

These recovery disks are useful because they include the most important part of what you can find on the Windows 7 installation disc if you purchase a retail copy of the OS. These recovery discs strip away everything except for the recovery portion, which brings the size down to about 5% of what the normal disc weighs in at.
